What is a vehicle consignment?

A vehicle consignment is when a seller pays consignment fees to a business, and in return, the business handles the entire sale on the seller's behalf.

Selling your vehicle on your own can be challenging. It takes time to get it ready for sale (getting it detailed, washing the exterior, taking pictures, finding a sales channel) and then dealing with all the messages, phone calls, and texts. At Trails End Tire and Auto Sales, we can CONSIGN your vehicle!

Are there any issues with the vehicle?

Terms & Conditions

If Trails End Tire and Auto Sales agrees to consign your vehicle, we will wash the exterior of your vehicle, list your vehicle on our website, Trails End Facebook page, and Facebook Marketplace, as well as handle all communication with potential buyers. If you choose to have us detail the interior of your vehicle or boost any posts on social media, those services cost extra and can be selected below, if desired. All charges (base consignment fee, interior detail fees, post boosting fees) will be deducted from the sale price of the vehicle. If the vehicle does not sell, you will owe any extra fees incurred.

Vehicle Consignment Agreement Statements

(By checking the box on each statement below, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of consigning a vehicle with Trails End Tire and Auto Sales, LLC). If you do not agree to a statement, please do NOT submit this form and contact us directly with any questions or issues.

I agree that I am consigning my vehicle listed above, with Trails End Tire and Auto Sales, LLC, for the sole purpose of selling the vehicle.

I agree that I possess a free & clear title (no liens), in my name, to the listed vehicle and will produce said title at the time the vehicle is turned over for consignment.

I agree to the consignment base fee of $250, which will be deducted from the total sale price of the vehicle and retained by Trails End Tire and Auto Sales, LLC for selling my vehicle.

I agree to the extra charges I have selected below, and understand these incurred charges are at my request and MUST be paid for regardless of whether or not the vehicle sells.

I understand that a sale is not guaranteed. If the vehicle does not sell within 30 days of listing, I understand a price adjustment may be necessary.

I understand and agree that if the vehicle does not sell, I will not owe the base consignment fee, but will still be responsible for paying any agreed upon extra charges incurred.

I understand that Trails End Tire and Auto Sales has the expertise and resources to set a vehicle price at a value that reflects the current market, but understand that I can request any reasonable price point for the sale of my vehicle.

I understand that Trails End Tire and Auto Sales, LLC is not liable for any theft, or damages incurred due to "acts of God", including but not limited to, hail, wind, fire, and/or water damage, while the vehicle is on the property of Trails End Tire and Auto Sales, LLC under consignment.
