We would like to thank everyone for all your business & support of Trails End Tire and Auto Sales over the last 5+ years!
This isn’t goodbye…
We have big changes coming that we wanted to share with you. After months of feeling deeply convicted, praying and listening for guidance and direction, we have come to a decision that we are changing how we live our life. We are simplifying. We are seeking meaning. We feel called to spend the rest of our days on earth doing something that is important and has purpose. We want to help others and make a true difference in people’s lives. To accomplish this we must give ourselves the freedom from financial & time constraints so we can go wherever we are called, to do whatever we are called to do.
So….

We will be closing Trails End Tire and Auto Sales by March 31st, 2026 at the latest.

We have already sold the Rustic Beauty Salon & Gift Shop.
-
Our boys are now grown and moving forward with their own lives, so we will be selling our acreage to purchase a modest home somewhere in the area.

We will be having a personal property auction at our place to sell all the excess material things in our life.
Owning our own businesses and working for ourselves has been a very rewarding experience, but also comes with a certain amount of stress and time commitment that no longer fits into our life’s mission. Having these businesses has been such a blessing and has been far more successful than we ever imagined. Not just to pay our bills, but in so many other ways:

We were able to “employ” our children and provide contract work to help others.

We were able to travel the country and see places we would not have otherwise.

We learned that, as a couple, we can work together in business and enjoy it! 24/7!

We learned new skills.

We met and worked with some pretty awesome people.

We got to experience the fullness of life from a worldly view of success… And now we will get to experience life from a whole new perspective.
We have no doubt that some of you will think we are crazy and won’t understand. Some of you will understand and cheer us on. Regardless of that, this is what we know is right for us and we cannot wait to get started. We are not just turning to a new chapter of life, we are opening a whole new book.
